Tonight was the big night for Eric (Iceland) & Sascha (Australia). Both had their final showreels airing at Crystal Dive Resort bar. Again due to our policy of "encouraging personal creativity" both like the rest of the films that are created were very individual pieces of work and both were of a very high quality. We will be uploading them to our youtube channel very soon. Good work to both our newley certified professional videographers!!. oh and love the picture.

Deep Down Productions hosted its first film festl and free BBQ at Dirty Nellies on Kph Tao. The new event will be held every 6 - 8 weeks and feature new film student final showreels and documentaries. This months featured Laure's (26 dive program) & Thomasz's (10 dive program) show reels and Andy's documentary on Symbiosis from our new Pro broadcast documentary course. All movies where awesome and were well received. Good work all.

Sina finished her Recreational Videography Course last night when she aired her showreel at the Crystal Dive Resort Bar to the eager audiance and DDP team. She undertook our 10 dive program and showed a reel eye for filming and editing. A brilliant movie was produced and showed what can be acheived in a very sort period. Nice work.

Videography trainees Jimmy & Tim were out diving at Japanese Gardens on Koh Tao and lucky enough to film this Eagle Ray. They had over 20 minutes with this beautiful animal and all came back with some first class HD footage. I'm sure this will be going into showreels at a later date.

Our latest Videography Course Trainee Jim is now well into his video course and was lucky enough to film this Hawksbill Turtle. He is having a couple of days out the water to concentrate on some editing so he will be well prepared for his showreel and documentary.

Latest Underwater Video course student Andy was out at Japanese Gardens today practicing module one (body positioning). He will continue to master this skill throughout the course as well as cover a variety of other essential skills. Tomorrow he will be covering static filming techniques. Because the course is a 26 dive program this gives the trainees plenty of time to learn and keep practicing the skills the are taught.
